Default American's with Disabilities Act Violation

Paruresis or shy bladder syndrome affects more than 17 million people. However, this condition is ignored by the government as a real issue. It is believed that these people are born with a trigger much like a diver’s reflex which instinctively does not allow them to urinate in public. However, these people are still urged to take urine drug tests and then are accused of being drug users if they are unable.
The truth is that if these people were really on drugs- they would refuse to take any form of drug test and this is not the case. It is time to allow options in the type of drug test administered. Furthermore, studies have shown hair drug tests to be more effective in detecting drug use. However, companies do not want to pay the slight increased cost of these tests.

The condition is real, in fact, I believe my mum suffers from it, although she hasn't been diaganosed. It isn't really fair that these people are seen as drug users when they really do have a problem.

I would have to think that if you discussed this beforehand with the employer, they could just as easily use a blood sample, or work out something.
