I certainly don't think the right-wing circlejerk on this forum represents anything close to mainstream society, possibly this recent tirade of anti-Obama claptrap is the result of a desperate Stormfront attempt to stop a black man being elected President.

It wasn't this bad a few months ago when he wasn't ahead. People actually talked about things that are now off-topic, you know, like the issues we face as a country.

Personally, a politician who came out and declared that he is actually a soul-sucking vampire would at least get my vote for honesty. Since they all are, really, you know.

P.s. Interestingly enough, the most rabid Obama-attackers appear to be a few core Hillary voters.

True that actually. Others may chime in later in a thread, but its Hillary supporters starting them.

Of course threads might tend to be more about Obama anyway. McCain is lying fairly low, and Hillary is mostly just sitting around picking at Obama where she can.

Plus this isn't the only board on the forum. Where many things are discussed. Often with a lot of foreigners. If you want to start a thread about candidates and specific issues in this board go ahead. Or are you one of those people who , when your candidate gets picked on, say "I want to talk about the issues," but you actually have no interest in spending some time talking about the issues?
