I heard an interesting statistic yesterday on T.v. that makes me rethink the whole "The war is costing too much" thing. Apparently, defense spending has always been 4% of gpd - regardless of the war. The reason is that our GDP has gone up, so that means more tax dollars - hence more spending on defense.
