Default Why Obama Can't Win

A lot of people and pundits are saying that Obama can't win because he's black, but that's not true. It's not that Obama can't win because he's black that has NOTHING to do with it. As a matter of fact, White America has a YEARNING to vote a black man into the office of the presidency. The reason he can't and won't win, is the same exact reason why Kerry and Gore couldn't win, Middle America believes in Capitalism. They believe in "Pull yourself up from the bootstraps". They believe in Patriotism. They believe in smaller government. They believe in EQUALITY. They believe that America is the GREATEST country in the world, and Obama doesn't believe ANY of these things. From Michelle's comments about this being the first time she's proud of America, to Obama's book outlining how he used to count the Marxist professors as friends to Obama's minister speaking of "Evil America" and the US of KKK A. These are things that don't sit well with Middle America, and unlike the major coastal cities, Middle America doesn't let CNN tell them How to vote.

I cover this topic in detail on my website.

I agree. I find it particularly disturbing that many people would even entertain the thought of electing someone who would be for a heavy amount of socialism.

Well unfortunately we have another socialist Republican as a candidate so I don't think that socialism alone is the deal breaker. I do think that Obama's ties to anti-americanists will definitely hurt him in the election.

Great point, but McCain isn't talking about repatriating the Oil Company's and Health Care Industries Profits. Also, you have to credit him, he' the ONLY Senator who hasn't put his hands in the cookie jar, in other words, he has zero pork barrel spending projects, or "earmarks" as they like to call them these days. In case you were wondering about the other Candidates, Hillary is Number 1 big spender and Obama is number 2 Big spender in all the senate. Kind of gives you a GLARING difference between these candidates.

I have to point out some blatantly inaccurate statements in your post. According to this website: http://www.taxpayer.net/budget/fy08earmarks/report.html, while Clinton breaks the top ten in terms of earmark spending recipients for fy2008, Obama is nowhere on that list. So naming them number 1 and 2 in all the senate is completely inaccurate and seems to have been done purposefully.

Moreover Obama claims to be a candidate for change but fails to expound upon this idea. He speaks in platitudes, and while that might be enough for the bed wetting, moveon.org left it doesn't have enough substance to over come the silent majority.

The fanaticism will fade and his socialist agenda will shine through.

Yes, after i see where Hillary gets her money from, i will never vote for her. She cares about corporate america, herself, and whoever will give her money.

You are ABSOLUTELY correct, I misread an LA Times Story, where it said that Hillary was number one and Obama number two, but upon closer examination, I realized that it said "Among the candidates". The actual numbers are;

Hillary is Clinton is #13 and Obama is #70 out of 100 Senators. Still McCain has Zero Pork Projects, he still holds that over the two of them. My point however is still the same, who would you rather have in office, Cinton - someone who assigns herself 270 Million in discretionary spending (basically she's assigning herself YOUR money), Obama - who assigns himself 97 Million in discretionary spending, or McCain - who thinks the country as in the Taxpayers would be better off with him NOT assigning himself or any special interest groups additional discretionary spending?

Think about this, how much cash have the Oil company's raked in? How many Billions? Yet, one of Obama's pork projects was for an Ethanol Research facility that if successful, would be mostly sold through existing Gas franchises owned by the Big Oil companies. It's no wonder Oil execs gave Obama over 200K in donations!

1. Please support your point that Americans(the majority of them) believe in small government.

2. Wait... Why does it matter whether anybody America is the greatest country in the world or not? What is the difference? I think we have plenty self-confidence(glances at post) already, and we need somebody in the White House who thinks rationally,( looks back up at post) not with so much confidence in our ability to be better than everyone else that we think we are invincible(thinks of current administration).

3.Michelle's comments.... I think the First Lady could be a communist an it still wouldn't matter. This election is focused on our next president, not our next first lady. If your so concentrated on the spouse, I'm suprised your not ranting about Bill. Same with Wright. I think Obama has enough responsibility(and intelligence) to make his own decisions, without being influenced by other people.

I'll continue my own tirade later.
