And exactly how do they come up with the scale? I have never had to wait or had subpar healthcare.

I'm not sure where you guys get the idea that its the job of the federal government to provide health care for all Americans, guess what its not.

The federal government spend way to much money on programs and benefits it has no buisness being involved in.

It is not smart to talk that way. Actually if you are average American citizen, if not(the rich one)than you can blaber all you want.

This list seems to come with the bias that socialized = better. Which is a total farse. My family nor I have ever existed in any sect that would be refered to as rich, and at times in my childhood some may have actually thought of us as poor. However, I've never once been without healthcare or the medical care that I needed or wanted.

Social medicine means the same substandard care for everyone. I'm real sick of hearing people whine about their inability to provide healthcare for themselves. Did I miss something, or isn't your health and health care your responsibility. At what point in our hisotry did we decide that it is no longer our obligation to look out for our own health, but instead it's the mommy's states responsibility to make sure that all of us made room in our budgets for health insurance.

The root of this problem is people are no longer willing to take responsibility for their own needs and have been coddled by the government schools to believe that it's uncle sams obligation to provide them with all that they need.

Why are Americans not emigrating out of the US in droves if this is such a big issue? I don't even see poor people emigrating.

Not necessarily. If our military budget was half of what it is now, we would still have the largest military in the world.



So why aren't poor people fleeing to Canada?


Compared to who? The only nation with a larger standing army in personnel is China. And no army has more equipment.

Same here. I am definitely not rich, and I don't have a problem getting decent health care. I certainly would not want what they have in Cuba.
