There is your first problem you beleive Michael Moore ( by the way he's a canadian). Really you have to have money to immigrate, could a fooled me with all the illegals coming into America.

If your deriving any facts from a Micheal Moore movie, there in lies your first problem. Secondly no one is 'migrating' out of the US for healthcare other than cheap flu shots. Infact quite the opposite. People from Canada frequently make trips down to the US to recieve the healthcare they'd have to wait in line for in their own country.

I have no idea. But almost anyone could get it. If they didnt have insurance, it'd be covered by welfare. If they made too much money for welfare, they would have to arrange payments with the state. Either way, you'd get the surgery.

As an example, I made very little money in my early 20s delivering Pizza, and I had no insurance. I broke my foot in a martial arts class, and the doctor bill was $1500. Because I made so little money, the state paid the bill. I paid a $15 co-pay, and that was it. The state paid the rest.

A little later, I had to go to the emergency room at a local hospital. By that time I had a decent paying job, but still didnt have insurance. The state footed the bill initially, but I had to pay them back over time.

That is common throughout the US.

Not necessarily. Lots of US immigrants dont have jobs here...and Canada has a large socialist system.

Most of the immigrants to the US are not wealthy...you do know that, right?


Not as wary difficult as you might think. Most of the 1 million immigrants we get each year make less than the average American. Yet they can afford to immigrate.

To effectively compare US military spending with other countries you should look at the percentage of GDP each nation spends on the military.

According to this, the US only spends about 4% of its GDP on the military which ranks us 46th in the world.

Whats even funnier is that we spend more on our military than the next 20 nations combined despite the fact that only 4% of our GDP goes towards the military. Thats brutal.
