I'm saying shows like O'reilly for example bring in a lot of people which is reflected in the ratings. High ratings doesn't mean it's the most trusted.

The View is another one that is set up at a disadvantage to conservatives. One conservative sitting around a table basically arguing with 3-4 people that disagree with her. Anyone ever have an argument with more than one person at the same time? You don't fare too well.

Bill Maher was the guy that condemned the Bush administration because "three of them don't believe in evolution". Concerning administration members?

I never said Bill Maher was a news show. I think it's entertaining.

The only true news shows are what we can view on CSPAN or in our local/regional courts

ROFLMNAO.. Real balance? That's an interesting qualifier... Particularly since you qualified dispAir America as being "moderate," when in FACT it is rancid hard core radical leftists... (pardon the redundancy). It's worth noting here that Fox gives leftist as much air time as CNN... they difference is they don't just si there nodding their heads, they balance the discussion with oppossing points of view. In contrast to CNN and MSNBC who set four leftist on a panel and call two of them conservatives.

Leftists are anti-American sport and Americans can't stand to listen to anti-American drivel... thus American AM Radio is skyrocketing day in and out while dispAir America flounders; hitting ever lower numbers... I read an article not too terribly long ago which showed that dispAir America can't even compete with internet radio programs, that are known to only a handful of people with very specific interests in these unknown narrowcast target markets, an internet program for QUILTERS KILLED dispAir America in the same time slot...

ROFL... Really? So people consistantly turn to listen to those they don't trust?

Interesting... I don't trust anything CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC or PBS says and I very rarely if EVER find myself tuning into those channels... I don't trust the Miami Herald, the NY Times, the Washington Time or the LA Times and I NEVER find myself picking up those rags...

What CAN we make of THAT?

Viewership isn't a reliable way of gauging how trustworthy a new channel is. People are tuning in to those opinion shows that pull in a lot of viewers which gives news channels like Fox News high ratings. I think if YOU get your news from those opinion shows you must have a pretty biased and misinformed view of the world lol.
