Not at all. Not even close. They are popular conservative voiceboxes. That's all. They have strong conservative opinions. They have fans. How are you making the connection that becuase these kinds of people are popular conservatives don't think for themselves?

Does the fact that the NY Times sells a lot of papers or The Daily Show is a popular show mean liberals don't think for themselves? Or how about the ratings Rosie brought to the View last year?

Fox is more entertaining because they emphasize balance and debate. Debate is more interesting than lectures and its a better way to get a balanced view of an issue, by hearing both sides argue it out.

They are more entertaining because they are more fair and balanced.

The ironic thing is many people DO get their news by watching The Daily Show, which is a left leaning comedy news show.

Fox is as far right as CNN is to the left.

I think all news media sucks and is biased in their own ways. They aren't really "news" either IMO. The idea of journalism is almost non-existant. That being said, I try to watch a little bit of everything.

On CNN, I typically watch a lot of the Situation Room and I participate in the Cafferty File questions. I also might watch Lou Dobbs from time to time and I can't stand him either.

On Headline News, I watch Glenn Beck almost daily. He's awesome except on foreign policy sadly.

On MSNBC, I usually watch Hardball, but I can't stand Matthews. I somtimes watch Countdown, but Olbermann is a moron.

On FOX, I watch Hannity and Colms and of course O'Reilly.

Instaslander is a word that I made up on the spot to mean Instant slander, without saying a word they make the left look less appealing by putting a face for it that looks like Eagor. Its fine with me that fox news leans right, atleast you get some contrast to the cnn and msnbc hyperliberalism. But to ignore the fact that the FOX koolaid is red, is as naive as it is to ignore the fact that cnn, msnbc, abc and cbs are blue.

I completely disagree. I don't think Mr. Colmes is bad looking at all. Who I am more worried about in terms of that kind of instaslander is Greta Van Susteren. She has a face like a stroke sufferer.
