That seems like a lame batch of stats.
The first interpretation to hit me would be maybe that Fox Viewers are more gullible in actually trusting their source.

But upon closer inspection, it simply appears that Fox is the only "conservative" news outlet shown. The others ar either liberal-leaning or just generic corporate-biased stuff.
Since the others are all similar it would make sense that their trusters would be spread around the various similar media rather than concentrated in any one.
Obviously Fox being a niche audience catch is going to get ALL of the viewers of that sort.

But added together... the "liberal media" are more trusted.

So, lets see, Colmes isn't liberal according to other liberals because he is ugly? This one is right up there with "liberals" trying to end racism by giving special treatment to people based on skin color.

Well I think its pretty ridiculous to cite Fox News as the most "Trusted" name in news just by looking at ratings. You can certainly call it the most watched, most viewed cable news network, but I am not sure why you think "trusted" should be tacked on. There can be SEVERAL reasons why they have higher ratings:

- THey are an entertaining news show to watch, much more than CNN or MSNBC and incorporate graphics and over-the-top debates that attract tons of people to the network to watch their shows just for the fun of it.

-Certainly there are a group of people that do watch it because they believe they trust it more than any other news network.

-I know a lot of "liberals" that would never trust Fox News with facts, but watch it to get a right-wing perspective on issues and to only confirm their dislike for that particular station.

And as for the statistics, I don't think they confirm one view or another. However, I do trust the PEW research center. It might be a "liberal think tank" or some "progressive brain washing" institution, but it does provide some really inciteful polls on the media.

Any liberal that puts down Colmes for his looks needs to stop. Don't bring yourself to the level of those conservatives who put down Moore for his weight. Attack what a person says or does but do not attack them for their appearance. Not only is it shallow but it shows a real lack of debating skills.

LOL. The left doesn't hate Colmes because he is ugly or because he isn't liberal. He backs all the liberal positions, drives Hannity crazy. He SHOULD be a liberal hero, a rarity among them, someone who actually, usually makes sense even arguing in favor of bad democratic policy.

The liberals hate him because he legitimizes Fox News, which they hate passionately. After all, its clearly biased to the right as the other stations are biased to the left. And, liberals only have tolerance for evil. They have very little patience for those who actually wish to resist evil.
