I do think part of it is looking for empathy, but I don't think that's the whole message. I think the deeper message is that we're all connected. In the video children played every roll. The idea always thrown into politics is protecting the future - like the whole destroy Islam thread. When you seek violence as a solution, you create a explosive chain of events that eventually affects the future - it affects the children.

I think it's trying to say that we aren't as great as we think we are. I think it's about all the things that we can do (like ride a bike with no handlebars) but we can't take care of each other. Like when it says, "I can guide a missile by satalite" That is an amazing scientific feat. I mean think of all of the technology and mathematics that must go into accomplishing that. But then, we use our amazing capabilities to fire a missile. It makes me think, "is that really that great of an achievement?"
