Why vote, seems the 2 party system is dysfunctional. I feel like it is a joke that is just not funny. Both parties are bought and paid for.
Lets start another party, for the 11 thousandth time. Nathan |

Great to have some responses. Yes I want this to be real. They say change only comes when you get uncomfortable. Well I am starting to get uncomfortable.
I think the first thing we need to do is decide what we stand for and how to get it done. Then we caucus and let the Government know we are here. It will take some time but we got to get our country back. Hilary just run an add on my TV at 6 AM saying she is not like the other candidates. She is not going to let our jobs go and stand up for the middle-class when her husband and Al Gore signed NAFTA into law. I can still see all beating up Ross Perot and telling him he was crazy old man. I just threw up and feel really sick. Legal is the only way Nathan |

Not sure which is scarier? That we can make a difference, or that our vote can actually count when dems and reps run, oversee, and count the ballots in the elections?
There is only two problems in America! Democrats and republicans!

Step 1 is to get some real folks together to do it legal. If we do not then war will ensue.
That’s how bad it is folks. The time is now. I have never been on a forum were every response has been moderated. This may be a good thing. We have hard work ahead. Nathan. In case you do not know Nathan is not my real name. It was taken from Nathan Hale. |

I'd really love to see a third party in this country really give the D's and R's a run for there money. Maybe then they'd stop looking to the lobbyist for their next hand out and refocus on the people they are supposed to be representing.
My suggestion is instead of making a new party. How about just a new tax code that would get the hands of politicians out of the lobbyist pockets. Vote Fairtax. |

This is my first post here. I had to register because I've been talking about this topic for a long time. The message needs to get out there. I was thinking that we could send a message to both parties if we voted but not for dem or rep. If they saw 20 to 30 percent of American votes were for niether party that would scare the crap out of them. You could write in any name, your Dads name if you want.

No restriction, the problem is that the dem and reps force the other parties in miniscuity, by hogging the air time for commercials, restricting how much 3rd parties can use to campaign. If you aren't loaded with cash on hand going into the race it's nearly impossible to compete with the two big parties. Not to mention that many people in this country vote along party lines without any consideration to the person that is running.
