Icon9 Voter Temper Tantrums

There are polls that show that a large percentage of Democratic voters will vote for John McCain if their candidate doesn't win the primary.

It's ok to be a swing voter, but this year the two parties have very different points of views on the most crucial issues, and candidates in the same party are very similar

John McCain thinks the war in Iraq is necessary, believes in trickle-down economics, is not for expanding health care, supports free trade as is, and is pro-life. If you have the same kind of views as John McCain, then it makes sense for you to vote for him.

Both Democratic candidates are different from McCain in these major areas. If you want to vote for one, you should vote for the other if it doesn't go your way. Why wouldn't you vote on national security, health care, jobs, trade, and economic policy? You shouldn't choose a presidential candidate like you choose wall-paper. Not wanting to "hang out" with a candidate, or "he/she said something to make me mad," is not a good reason for not voting for someone.

Most of these voters are saying that they'll switch to McCain to skew things for they're candidates and/or because they are throwing a hissy fit about not getting their way. Like irresponsible juveniles, they want to sabotage what everyone else wants because they didn't get their way.

Like most tantrums or attempts to skew things, I expect that it will die out once there is a nominee (I hope). Hopefully, people will vote based on the policies that they support. Those of you making this claim (from both sides) should be ashamed of your childish and petty behavior.

People who truly support McCain his policy are ok by me. I think you're wrong like you think I am, but I can respect your view.

Some of you agree with me and think that the war is bankrupting the country as fast as open trade, that we're now less safe while heading for economic disaster, that healthcare for everyone is important, and a woman's right to choose is a basic right. Even still you will vote against it all for spite, and I think that the only tragedy is that those of us who don't subscribe to this have to pay the price for your ignorance, because you deserve it.

I really had to vent about that, sorry for the harsh tone.

I wont vote for Obama should he win the nomination because the most powerful office in the most powerful nation in the world should not be occupied by an amateur. I wont vote for mccain either. I will not vote. Hillary is the better experienced candidate for POTUS. If she loses the nomination, which most people believe I will stay home.

If Obama had at least 8 more years experience in foreign relations and domestic policy in relation to a national landscape I would vote for him, but at this point my conscience is clear. He is NOT experienced enough for the most power job in the world. All those people who voting for change are voting for rhetoric and not good sense. Obama is winning the vast majority of the black vote because blacks are voting race and not his record in the Senate and in Chicago's politics. They are not voting the issues since both democratic candidates are almost identical in their policy ideas.

Hillary is seen as dishonest by 58% of the country because of snipergate, which in my view is unimportant. Sean Penn...? Hilary should have been more careful about who she chose for her campaign advisers. Sean Penn's support for CAFTA does not make hillary dishonest...just bad at choosing the right person for a political campaign.

Obama is not responsible for Wright's comments, which I agree with. To suspect Obama's loyalty to the country because of what his pastor said is riduculous. Everyone with any brain knows that a theological sermon can get quite inflammatory and rowdy. What is wrong with the "United States of KKK..."? Does anyone care that the american indians are the most downtrodden race in america who have been forced by WHITE christians to convert to christianity. They live in squalor and are alcoholics. But does anyone care about them? Does anyone wish to see them succeed economically? Spritually? Emotionally? Humanely? Considering the state of the lives of american indians on reservations Jeremiah Wright is right in stating "United States of KKK..." Until America address the issues of american indians lives and their beliefs are respected this country will always be hypocritical when it comes to racial equality. It seems to me American indians are a forgotten race swept under the rug.

You people are utterly pathetic?

There is no democrat or republican running for office? They are all members of the rich elite, performing on political stage, in this year’s premier rendition of, "The Great American Democracy Fraud Festival".

The person who will take the position of president has already been predetermined, and your voice is irrelevant, and has been stifled for generations now.

Just look at the last few presidential elections? In 2000 the will of the people, was determined by the courts, and the vote regulations that are in place to protect voters, was clearly distorted into legislation protecting the candidate most suited by the ruling minority, the rich/elite.

By 2002, the rich/elite had their constituents install a minister of propaganda (Rummy) and placed it’s office in the safest most well protected building in Washington, the Pentagon, where it was able to orchestrate an all out assault on public view!

Then in 2004 the public wasn’t buying the BS anymore and Rummy was on his way out, and the savior of the democratic party was John ‘the sockpuppet’ Kerry! Is that right?? John "never done anything mention-able" Kerry? That John Kerry? If you say so? So this guy, Kerry ran against a neo-con artist president that was not popular at all at the time, and even less popular today. When the results were read, the majority of the United States went, !?HUH?!, and Kerry who never should have been realistically placed in the position, left the building faster than Elvis at his farewell performance!

By 2006, the villagers were growing restless, for them to pretend America was behind the neo-con artists agenda would be the stretch of the imagination so bold even the blindest of Americans could have easily seen through the sham. So they (rich/elite) allowed a few of the folks with "d"’s next to their name, assume a small majority, but not so much of a majority that thy could actually throw a monkey wrench into the works. Just enough so they could honestly say their hands are tied, and for the neo-con artists to say those evil liberals haven’t/aren’t doing anything? Anything that is accept, what they are paid/told to do that is!

So almost 2 years now the imaginary democrats have been sitting on their hands, waiting to be given their next marching orders, by their real bosses, the one’s that actually placed them into the positions of power they are stagnating in! We all should be familiar with now!

Which brings us to the madness that has plagued every news channel in existence for the last few months. It can only be seen as imaginary, fictional accout of fairy tale politics. Staged, porrly I might add, debates and programmed outrage between/among candidates who supposedly represent the same values/beliefs and/or issues? Clinton/Bush 1, Clinton/Dole, and/or Bush 2/Gore couldn’t and didn’t muster this much animosity towards one another as the Clinton/Obama soap opera has created, and they had a reason too. As for Bush 2/Kerry, Kerry was in such a hurry to concede he was congratulating his Scull & Crossbone bro, and hailing his limo before all the results were even in, counted or verified?

Democrats (the real liberals not the imaginary one’s in office) are so flustered and discombobulated they are threatening to vote for anybody, even the guy who doesn’t even care about their values/beliefs and/or issues. And republicans (the real conservatives not the imaginary one’s in office) think they are still on the winning team, so are programmed into not caring as long as the guy with an 'r' next to his name wins, all is good!

We are no longer a republic and we have never been a democracy, and we as a nation are doomed! Just a matter of time now!
