I think there's enough libertarians to be a strong third party. The fact is those the democrats/republicans are in bed with eachother as big, (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*), socialists... |

The reason I doubt that they will rise to a true political party is due to the Republicn party moving, perhapse like an amoeba, to absorb those who would swing Libertarian if they had to make a choice. Let me put it this way. Lets say there were a bunch of voters that like the idea of cutting the cords on the social safety nets so they can have a sports car. But they aren't quite comfortable with the whole indentured servitude thing. If forced to choose between the cars and the slavery enough might swing Libertarian to make them powerful enough for a run on the presidency. However instead of making them choose the Republican party would simply shift their stance and offer to cut the nets but not add in the indentured servitude. Thus they absorb that set of swing voters. That doesn't make the Libertarian party pointless. In this example it forced the Republican party to shift its platform. Just don't do something stupid like run a presidential candidate unless you want socialism. |

Don't get me wrong, I know what you mean, I'm a one issue voter. I vote prolife, period.
Seeing as neither party is adhering to my wants as a voter. I have nothing to lose. Slavery? Go for it.. No society that allows abortion can take the moral highground. Anything goes if that goes. |

If pro life is what you want it would seem the republicans/McCain are trying to adhere to your wants, at least as much as they can politically.

Even Ron Paul I trust more then McCain. At the very least, Ron Paul would give us a chance to tackle the problem state by state. |

You'd like to think so.
But with the rampant changes in society, who knows? People never would've thought we'd be in perpetual war, now it looks like a hyge possibility... People never thought we'd be able to see everything that goes on around the world, now we can... People never thought we could communicate with someone ten billons miles away, now we can... The age of Baal is coming to an end, the age of child sacrifice and sexual peversity will have no room to continue as world war three will consume us. The Leviathin, The Behemoth, and The Ziz. ![]() The three great beasts that will wage war on eachother. In that epic battle, surely the beasts will want to keep their offspring alive to serve in the war. I will see abortion banned in my lifetime. This is not just some wild guess, it's a mathamatical prediction. Only so many dice can be a dissapointment before you get a six. My six is coming. Six, Six, Six... Let's see you demand child sacrifice then. You'd tremble like a little (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) to just me holding a gun. Let alone the horrors we will come face to face with in years to come.
