Ah, I have nothing against attacks if they are deserved and appropriately placed. In this case, I found it rather appropriate considering how you frequently commit the very thing you just criticized of someone else. But that's okay PI, we are getting used to your double standards.

My apologies, never a bad idea to keep to the topic at hand.
And in light of the topic, I agree.... I forget the other thread where this was brought up, but I mentioned this very thing. All of our voting rights are managed by the state if I understand correctly. The only limitation on the states is that provided by the protection of the due process of law, and the 15th amendment frodly mentioned as well as the 19th amendment. But those just cover specific cases on how the state governments can not discriminate, but they can discriminate against everyone equally I think the best we get is a vague protection in article 4, section 4 "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence." Then I would ask what exactly they mean by "republican" and also wonder if it's significat that they said "every State" and not "the people" or something to that effect.
