Looks like Al will make a good politician after all. Like many, he is a hypocrite better at condemning others than practicing what he preaches. Hey Al, continue to support higher taxes while doing everything you can to not pay them yourself!

I'm sure he does. Not claiming business income would be a "mistake" as well if I ever made that choice. Even more so if I was in politics.

Someone must believe him, because he's not in trouble.

It is possible it was indeed a mistake made by his accountant. Or not. Only he really knows. I'm not inclined to believe him or not believe him based on politics.

Half the story is always more fun that all of the story, isn't it?
It looks like he paid the taxes, just to the wrong recipients.

This also looks like his accountant's problem, not his. After all, you set up corporations and hire accountants so you don't have to think about stuff like this.
