Would this mean that the "average Dane" indulges in broad--brushed negative generalizations about people in other countries?

I rather hope not.

Simpletons are simpletons, and while you characterize us based upon simpletons of the right, it would be just as easy for us to characterize you for your simpletons of the left. In both cases, people display rigid conformism, but the only difference is that our fundies are more likely to be religious, while yours are more likely to be multiculturalist. In either case, it is a matter of dogma trumping reason.

Let's face it -- there is certainly no shortage of stupid people no matter where one lives.

We as Americans, have made more progress in 200 years than the rest of the world has in 2000. It must goad you to think that whenever something happens in the world, the rest of you have to ask yourselves the question, "What is the United States going to do to fix this?"

It's easy to sit from afar and be an armchair critic. I ask you what great contribution has Denmark made to the rest of the world with regards to Freedom and Democracy? Last I checked... there wasn't anything in the History books about Denmark liberating anyone... Or maybe We should talk about how France liberated Europe from the Nazis. Or wait, lets talk about how Germany reunified itself--no wait. They didn't. We did it for them.

I'd like to see how high and mighty the rest of Europe would be if we decided on a Moratorium on Foreign Aid, Loans and purchasing goods and services from the rest of the world. How much would the European economy be worth then? Japan would be out of money in a month.

Your country does next to nothing to ensure the stability of the rest of the world in comparison. In point of fact, the two Greatest conflicts in the history of mankind, started in YOUR neck of the woods. Without any help whatsoever from the United States.

Mmmmh. I may need to revise my previous post. There also seems to be a serious lack of humor in some parts of the US. Or at least among some USAins.

Did any of the rightously upset posters here notice the other thread in this sub-forum with a title exactly the same as mine?

...if it's so obvious to you that we don't care about you, then why do you care so much about us? I mean, it's obvious that we don't like you, right? We've painstakingly tried our whole lives to ignore you, and you have the balls to say you don't like U.S.? Well guess what, the feel is mutual. Now that you understand how much of an (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) you are, we can go back to ignoring each other.

Which election was it that he was doubted of winning? I remember something about a court decision ruling him the 'winner' of the election...

It was a sort of spoof. The other thread was seriously out there so I thought I'd make one where the worst thing I had to say about the US was that it had elected Bush....twice.

Perhaps I should have included a smilie.

Maybe I was overly sensitive, if so, I'm sorry.
You must admit though that Europeans seem to be angry with us, unless & until they need our help.
