Default Why I dislike the US

The general tendency of the average American to know so little about the rest of the world, the religiousity and social conservatism, but mostly for allowing Bush to be elected....twice.

Yes because the rest of the world knows everything about it, religious conservatives can only be found in the US, and Bush is the SOLE reason for the world's problems today.

That's the most disappointing thing, the fact that Americans voted for Bush for a second time when apparently, many people were unhappy with him.

On the other hand, giving him his full two terms at once means he'll never be in control again. And that is something I am thankful for.

Since he got like 3 million more votes than John Kerry it would seem not as many were unhappy with him as the media implied.

Ugh. The rest of the world is a mess much worse than the US. In fact, a large majority of the world would be in shambles without US money and military protection.

From what I hear denmark sucks

"In short, Denmark is a socialist hellhole, that you would have to be cortically challenged to want to live in, unless you are a spineless and unproductive welfare leech. Here is why: "

It is such a politically correct thing to make the United States look like an evil empire, like the oppressors of the world. I had a history teacher who forbade us from thinking that the United States was the best country in the world.

I've got a message. We are the best country in the world. No doubt about it.

I don't care what Europe thinks of us, and nobody else should. The United States should be looking out for itself.

Democrats, however, surely have the support of the EU. For some reason, liberals hate seeing America as the strongest country in the world, and want to please everybody else.

Here are some quotes from various democratic candidates campaign websites:

"Americans are ready for a leader who will restore America's reputation in the world, and Hillary is prepared to lead America back in the right direction."

What? The reason our reputation is ruined is because others are jealous of us. They want to be like us! That's the reason others loathe the United States. They have no idea how much foreign aid they receive. They should be grateful they're getting anything! Next, Barack Osama has this to say.

"The Problem: The United States is trapped by the Bush-Cheney approach to diplomacy that refuses to talk to leaders we don't like. Not talking doesn't make us look tough – it makes us look arrogant, it denies us opportunities to make progress, and it makes it harder for America to rally international support for our leadership. On challenges ranging from terrorism to disease, nuclear weapons to climate change, we cannot make progress unless we can draw on strong international support."

Mmkay, that sends a great message. "Do anything you want! We'll just talk about it!" Great, Thanks Barack.

Apparently, according to liberals, the United States is a terrible country, a bully, if you will. Hillary, Barack Hussein, want us to become that school counselor who encourages you to talk about your feelings using "I messages." That is some foreign policy.

Listen, I am not suggesting that we should have no allies. And I am not suggesting that we should jump into a war whenever we want.I'm saying we should worry about what is happening in our country rather than what others think of it.

President Bush has been a blessing to this country. Without him, we wouldn't be the world's superpower.

I wake up every morning and thank god I'm on US soil. Would not want to be anywhere else for longer than a vacation.

Do you want to ask a question about "the rest of the world"? Or is this, forgive my ignorance, just a way for you to insult a country that you apparently have very little respect for or knowledge of. I am genuinly interested in why or how you have come to the conclusions you have come to. How is it that you think you know more about the kinds of people that voted for Bush, which, BTW, in the last election he won by 52%?
Some of us, many, as a matter of fact, have traveled extensively & lived abroad for several years. There's a reason we come back to the US, & it's mainly for the same reasons that millions & millions of people from the world over have immigrated to the US, some, many, dying in the process.
Can you say the same for your Kingdom?
