I beleive it is! The truth cannot be spoken if it potential may offend some ethnic group or gender. We are truly a weaker nation for having experienced political correctness.

For example, many have posted verbatim language from the Quran calling for followers to kill people for no other reason than they don't have the same religious beleifs as Muslims. Any politicans taking this one on? not that I see.

Mexicans and other central and south American country's citizens are illegally entering our nation, illegally driving cars on our highways, and committing other crimes with impunity. (I have heard of a study that shows that over 30% of our prison inmates are illegal aliens). Anybody taking this one on? NOPE! The only language you hear on this is some idiots insisting on ignoring the crime and simply calling them immigrants. This should infuriate those who legally went through the process and legally became citizens of our nation, but we have been bullied into silence.

It is not healthy!

Granted my comments about illegal aliens are somewhat contradictory, but I do know that many local law enforcement people will just let illegals go if they catch them committing traffic crimes, because they are afraid to prosecute. That was my point. Many violent criminals who are illegal aliens are locked up, BUT NOT ALL OF THEM ARE!

If you leave out the part about illegal aliens... that's also true.
What a shock! Law enforcement has not caught every criminal!

There's more than Mexicans & "other SA countries" citizens crossing our borders. That's the reason that the illegal immigration is so detrimental to national security. Scores of middle easterners have been caught trying to pass themselves off as Mexicans crossing the border, & not just ME people.
However, is PC killig the country? It's for sure done a number on the 1st amendment. But ya know what? I am old & cantankerous, I live a few miles above southern senility & just west of chaos, so I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*). I'll say what I want & take my lumps!! There are some words that I won't use, just cause I don't like some of the slang. Plus I'm a lady (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)!!!

1) PC is not killing the country. You have very little faith in the American system apparently.
2) The Bible has just as many stupid passages as the Quran. I don't see any politicians taking that on either. (stone to death back talking children)
3) Could you provide a link that shows "score of ME" are trying to cross the border. Shouldn't they just go to Canada?

"Faith in America" is still strongly held by most Americans, IMO, it's the "nattering nabobs of negativity" that like to tear it down. However, PC is a problem & absloutely hinders the 1st amendment.

but PC is bad.
it's good to not intentionally offend people,
but it's bad to teach everyone to be THAT sensitive, like the previous post.
and i agree that it sometimes prevents us from discussing important problems openly and efficiently.
like those that argue we should be stopping and searching the old ladies at the airport the same ammount as the young arab men.
