Yea, I would like to get into politics someday. You still assume I do nothing else or even furthermore, assume I told you everything I do. Yea, I usually tell strangers such matters.

A nuclear arsenal is more than enough. Armed Americans (in case of an invasion) would be good. And if there was a real threat to us or we were acting in self-defense, I'm not concerned about getting the necessary soldiers for war.

The UNSC is responsible for determining the actions on a member nation in these circumstances:

Article 2:
The Organization and its Members, in pursuit of the Purposes stated in Article 1, shall act in accordance with the following Principles.
...
ll Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

Article 24:
In order to ensure prompt and effective action by the United Nations,its Members confer on the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security, and agree that in carrying out its duties under this responsibility the Security Council acts on their behalf.

Article 25:
The Members of the United Nations agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council in accordance with the present Charter.

The UNSC did not make a desicion to sanction the use of force - so the use of force was illegal.
