Right, nice try changing the subject from your excessive pleasuring yourself, this is the topic of the thread. If you are an idiot and take out a loan you can't pay back you shouldn't get to keep your car. I have a job, I make a good living, I buy a used car each and every time I need a car, I drive the car until it dies. Unlike liberals, I understand money management.

what this points to is an economy gone sour ... lots of citizens who were previously able to make their payments cannot any more ... gotta sell the car to get gas money
dick's energy task force (comprised of oil honchos) has certainly done its job

got me. laughing at you is a real pleasure i allow myself to indulge.
you try to direct the blame everywhere but where it belongs ... you attempt to blame the victim and the messenger while ignoring the idiot in the white house whose policies have brought our economy to the brink of recession (and it's still a long way until it touches bottom)
those car loans, the ones now unpaid, were approved by the lender at the time the car was sold. at the time those loans were made the economy allowed those car buyers and the lenders to believe that repayment could be made without difficulty. the diminuition of discretionary income after payment of both fixed obligations and price increases due to energy spikes, together with layoffs directly due to dubya's failing economy, have caused many to be without the means they previously had to pay their bills.
the economy is tanking because of the shrub's awful stewardship of our country's affairs. that is the topic of the thread ... the car repos illustrate it

but thanks for providing another opportunity to laugh AT you

Wow you are using a lot of three dollar words on me, however the fact that people (some lie) take out loans that stretch themselves to the limit is the problem. Because the economy slows (no recession) and companies lay off is not George W's concern. He is not the ruler of a socialist empire - then the government would be at fault. He is the President of a capitalistic society.

My question to you is... if you were layed off today how long could you survive without government assistance? I will tell you that I have been saving since my first job, if I were to lose my job and the chance of that is great in my field, I could live for 1 year without help. I am at that point not because I am rich, but because I have planned.

So your saying in the first 6 years with a republican congress the cost went up $.75 and in the last 16 months with a democrat congress it's gone up $1.25, hmmmm, makes you think doesn't it?

You must be an evil, angry white man who doesn't understand the plight of the ill-prepared.
