Do you under stand why we have problems in the Middle East today? We chose to put Bases on Holy Land for one, would it upset you if a Muslim group put a Base on the Vatican. I think you would be angry. The other problem the lack of respect for Middle Easter recourses you know oil. When ever you gas up that Hummer when you whine about the price. ignore a much greater problem and your unknowingly suppourting it. My worse nightmare is if the US attacks Iran. This will either lead to WW III or another cold war with Russia. Most likely World War 3.

I get what your saying and I understand these problems but it is only human nature that there will be conflict where there are resources.

Im talking if we attack Iran this could trigger a nueclear winter not only with Russia but China. We also have a living breathing boogey man running around, guess who its Osama Bin Laden. Hes actually smarter than our current President. Osama wants power its not about religion either its power.

Given that the Vatican has no particular significance to me, I doubt I'd care. Unless it were the Intifada, and then I'd be peevish.

You guys act like the Middle East was some paradise before America reared its ugly head. There has been nothing but war and killing in the middle east for the last 2000 years, thats what they do. Since the automobile has only been around for about the last 100 years and bases haven't been there that long how do you explain the other 1900 years of insanity over there?
