Default Republicans - Meet Your New Mascot

The Republican party has talked a good game about how Conservative they are supposed to be, but there is a problem. People are not defined by what they say, but by what they do. And what have today's Republicans done?

1) They have increased the size of government more than LBJ or FDR could have imagined in their wildest wet dreams.

2) They has spent our money (that's right, your money and my money) like drunken sailors at a Thai house of prostitution.

3) They have made the Federal government the nanny of us all. They seek to protect us, not just from external threats, but from ourselves as well.

4) They have gutted the Posse Comitatus Act, the Bill of Rights, and parts of the Constitution itself. Janet Reno must regard them as heros.

5) They have created a welfare state for billionaires.

6) They have limited the Goldwater-Reagan concept of personal freedom.

7) They have limited the Goldwater-Reagan concept of personal responsibility.

eight) They have embraced the Clintonesque NAFTA, CAFTA, and GATT treaties, which have sent our jobs overseas.

9) They have caved to Communist China. China uses the system to manipulate its currency, to the detriment of America, and today's Republicans do not hold their feet to the fire for it.

10) They reward the lawbreaking of illegal immigrants by letting them go to the front of the line, in front of those who are not breaking the law, but playing by the rules.

This is just for starters. I could type much, much more, but you get the idea.

And the Republican party still has the gall to tell Conservatives that their party is our home? How stupid do they believe we are?

To the leadership of the Republican party - We are no longer drinking your Kool-Aid. Those of us who are not staying home will be voting Libertarian, voting Constitutionist, writing in Ron Paul, or maybe even writing in Bozo the Clown, in order to send you a message that is loud and clear. We have no home in your party this year, and next year, when we begin to take the party back, you can count on the fact that we are going to kick you and your fake Conservative ideology to the curb. Accept the changes that are coming to the party. This time, we will not be stopped. We will rebuild the party to Conservative values, and you can either be part of the solution, or you can sit on the sidelines and watch it happen. It is up to you.

Until then, Republicans........

I hereby declare the elephant dead. Say hello to your new mascot:

Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a **** how crazy they are!

Free trade is a conservative position. Clinton was just a moderate. All free trade agreements between industrialized nations are good things, and they bring more efficient manufacturing.

The manipulation of Chinese currency is not something the US government can affect, but their manipulation has simply made Chinese goods cheap in the US. That isn't so bad, is it?

It can be... If it destroys all of the competition to the point that china has a monopoly on major production and manufacturing. I don't know the issues around this enough, but it's sort of like wal mart killing the competition then raising their prices.
