That's one of my problems with socialists. They engae in idiotic behavior and then to rinse themselves of responsibility for their idiocy they demand that idiocy should be normalized.

They get all exercised over 30 days in the county jail, but they never want to discuss the consequences of a lifetime of sub-standard performance and the typical ramifications associated with the underacheiving chronic pot smokers.
Would you say that the music industry is full of pot-smokers? I would.

By your own logic (correct me if I don't understand your logic), rich people are automatically considered above-par performers, since your only gauge of "performance" is monetary (not even economic -- just monetary). Therefore, every single wealthy person who smokes pot -- which is most of them, in the opinion of pretty much everybody, I think -- disproves your theory.

Or is it that you think that only poor pot-smokers should be sent to jail? Perhaps it isn't really the pot-smoking that you think is criminal, but simply being poor?

Sure it's harmful, but if that's the case for making things illegal why not cigs, alcohol and sky diving?

I guess, but that wouldn't hold up in court.

I didn't say there wasn't arguments against using it.

I said there is not an argument against not legalizing it.

It's ridiculous. The Government made it illegal b/c Dupont recognised that Hemp was a better material to produce clothes with then nylon, pure and simple.

Marijuana should not be made legal, for the simple reason it leads to harder drugs.
For medicinal purposes maybe, but for recreational use? No. Do you really want to see pot heads smoking bongs on the street corner? I certainly don't.

Who cares if they lead to harder drugs?

The prerogative of the user.
