Default Boy George's legacy - #1 - World's all time single biggest loser

We can start of with 9/12/01, the day after the twin towers, when virtually the entire American nation put aside all differences to come together as we should in a crisis and support our Commander In Chief. And indeed the whole world was at Bush's behest to do what they could of service at a time of immense tragedy.
Nobody has EVER had a moment as such, where situations gave the most powerful man in the world the unlimited opportunity where he could do whatever series of acts he wanted for the betterment of all man-kind, to change the course of our planet and improve things in ways previously incomparable and incomprehensible.
George W. Bush had the world in the palm of his hand, and took full advantage of the fact, by making a fist and squishing the guts out of it, simply to take political advantage over his perceived opponants, and he didn't even do that well.

He could have been King George for life, something you know (*)(*)(*)(*) well he'd love, and had he done it in a manner worthy of such accolade, I'd have been in full support as well.
But true to Republican ways, they took the lowest road possible, and now this country is a dead man walking.

That would have been the most fascist thing to do at the time.

Fascism is a force that seeks to work for the greater good that taps into nationalism and a sense of national self-reliance to achieve that goal. As Mussolini put it, it was "socialism of the trenches" instead of the factories. He would use nationalism as the force to get people to work together and sacrifice for the greater good. He knew that Marxism and socialism based off of class would never actually implement an effective and functioning socialist society. That is why he could use nationalism, a much more effective force, to achieve that goal instead. If Bush were to have done this, he would have been using the same force for similar principles: the betterment of all man-kind, to change the course of our planet, and to improve things in ways previously incomparable and incomprehensible. I would much rather prefer that he let the nationalism die off and that he not abuse the power entrusted in him by the people. Power corrupts. That is inescapable. And when it does, it becomes a monster that abuses the people to no limit.

As long as were talking about 9/11:

Congressional Record: September 26, 2002 (Senate)

HOMELAND SECURITY

In September 1998, the Intelligence Community obtained information that Usama Bin Laden's next operation could involve flying an aircraft loaded with explosives into a U.S. airport and detonating it; this information was provided to senior U.S. Government officials in late 1998.

In the fall of 1998, the Intelligence Community received additional information concerning a Bin-Laden plot involving aircraft in the New York and Washington, DC, areas;

In November 1998, the Intelligence Community learned that a Bin Laden was attempting to recruit a group of five to seven young men from the United States to strike U.S. domestic targets.

In the spring of 1999, the Intelligence Community learned about a planned Bin Laden attack on a U.S. Government facility in Washington, DC.

Additionally, in 1999, the threat of an explosive-laden aircraft being used in a suicide attack against the Pentagon, CIA headquarters, or the White House, was noted in a Library of Congress report to the National Intelligence Council.

In late 1999, the Intelligence Community learned of Bin Laden's possible plans to attack targets in Washington, DC, and New York City during the New Year's Millennium celebrations.

On December 14, 1999, an individual named Ahmed Ressam was arrested as he attempted to enter the United States from Canada with detonator materials in his car. Ressam's intended target was Los Angeles International Airport. Ressam, who has links to Usama Bin Laden's terrorist network, has not been formally sentenced yet.

In March 2000, the Intelligence Community obtained information regarding the types of targets that operatives in Bin Laden's network might strike. The Statue of Liberty was specifically mentioned, as were skyscrapers, ports, and airports, and nuclear power plants.

4 actual attacks on Americans overseas, 8 credible threats to attack U.S. soil even specifying airliners and the eventual targets, how much more did the Clinton administration need to pull their heads out of their collective behinds and do something? This went on over the course of both of his terms, 1993 - 2001. Then after 9/11 they all jump around saying they did everything they could (Name one), bomb an aspirin factory and an empty training camp while assisting in arms shipments from Iran to the Kosovo Liberation Army a terrorist group backed by Bin Laden in violation of the U.N. Arms embargo. A whole lot of intel never made it past Clinton's information "Wall". Clinton walked away as 3000 people died because of his abject dereliction of duty to do ANYTHING but pleasure himself with interns, now THAT is disgraceful!
