I am amazed to this day that the Bible is still believed. A book that was created to control people so that the church can enrich itself and be very powerful.
This book teaches misery and unhappiness and calls them morals, promising happiness in the afterlife in heaven.

I agree, but I don't think it teaches misery. We know what's right and what's wrong, we don't need a book to tell us the "sins".

I'm just glad I live in the United States which was founded on the principle that government originates with the People and not with God. If the Bible and not the Declaration of Independence were the foundation of America we would certainly not enjoy the liberty and freedom we enjoy today.
