A baptist church near me actually won't let women be elected as church Elders, regardless of her qualifications....over a less qualified man. This is immoral, stupid, and maybe illegal.

People, please pull yoursleves out of the 8th century, and realize that blacks and even women (gasp!) are not inferior. I know that we *used* to enslave blacks, and we *used* to not even let women vote, but we also *used* to think that The Sun God pulled the sun across the sky with his chariot, too.

Hillary/Obama, even though they won't stand up to the terrorists enough - so I likely won't vote for them, have provided some troglodytes with a glimpse of reality...that is that qualified blacks and women CAN indeed lead white males.

If a woman can be president/senator/governor/mayor, then was Mohammad wrong in saying that women couldn't even be judges? Of course he was. We'd all like to see them modernize that ridiculous part of the Islamic texts.

It's illegal for countryclubs (well I think it's at least discriminate against blacks, for example) to exclude women, no? Yes, I might be wrong on this, but if it is ever illegal, then why should superstitious corporations (churches, mosques, synogagues, etc.) be exempt??
