Yes, I will first start out by acknowledging that Pres. Bush has had his share of good moment's as President, in fact I even sorta like him as a person. Mr. Bush seem's to be a nice down to earth guy and I respect him for that. However, I simply do not agree with his politics. I mean we all love our friends and family (well mostly..), but how many of them do we want to be President of our country???
To me the Pres. has failed in my respects to do his job effectively. His tax cut's arent working and most expert economist say have put a drain on the middle and lower classes of america. His supply side economic policy is failing to produce more jobs at a rate that would matter, cost for health-care for seniors and others are sky rocketing out of control in for most americans, and on top of that over 4 million americans have no form of health-care what so ever. HAve you looked around your local grocery store lately?? Not only has the price of milk go up, but also the price of bread and eggs have all gone up. Some of these thing arent directly in the presidents control such as the gas price, milk, and bread, but they are all indicative of the sort of environment he has steered our economy into. Under the president economic strategy this nation is worst of not better of than it was four years ago. Also, the President has his priorities in many ways mixed up. You cannot fund tax cuts that mostly benefit the wealthy and few other's yet not fully fund your own education reform act. The public school system in america is being severely crippled by the under funding of no child left behind, and in some areas of the country the program itself is a failure. In order for our children to have a chance our schools must be able to properly fund there education. Mr. Bush has also been engaged in two wars that are becoming very costly. The war in Iraq is becoming a quagmire with each passing day, and has no real; end in sight. American troops are not coming home anytime soon and they are still being killed everyday. The cost of the war has surpassed 200 billion dollars of the U.S. I bill being flipped by us the tax payers. My fellow americans I ask of you to seriously consider what we have gained and lost under this President. If you fully weight the cost I believe you will see that our loses far exceed our gains, and that we can not afford for more year's of a Bush White House... So to the cries of those we say four more year's I say.. NO MORE YEAR"S!!! Let's give Sen Kerry a chance to put his economic plan to work and use his military strategy to secure Iraq, and if he fails will find someone else again for the job regardless of party. I ask simply that we vote for who's best for all of america not part, but all and thats clearly not Pres. Bush. |

In what respects can you say that the President has done his job, in what can be called an effective manner? Also, almost any solider in the the armed forces in this country or any other, who has fought in a war has committed a combat war crime in one way or another. International war crimes law and tribunals are far to loose and vague. However, that is not of any relevance to begin with and was a cheap shot. Also, if you are referring to the 9-11 attack and the events that followed it as the bases for how you feel he has done a good job as president I would say this. No person who has the political ability or zeal to get themselves elected President could not have handled that situation in a manner that showed anything but great leadership. Except for maybe Jimmy Carter but he's an idiot.

If you can not determine what an effective manner is watch CNN sometimes. Look at the new unemployment rates, higher prime rates on loans, look at the number of people that have moved under the poverty level under this administration. Then look at the ever increasing number of Americans without health care from 00-03 almost 40 million. Then look at the books from four years ago, no one with half a brain could think we are better off, unless you're a millionaire then congrats. And I guess you won't be voting for any one Republican, democrat, or other that served in combat in WWII or Vietnam since it has be long determined by many reports that most would have committed wars crimes under international law. However, the US doesnt recognize some of those laws there by letting them off the hook.
But you probably wouldnt care anyway, Kerry committed war crimes and wasn't punished b/c his commanders that ordered him to do it said it was ok in war those things happen. Bush wouldn't know that he never went. But that's who you're voting for right!! I respect that, but dont try to attack kerry's past when bush was practically AWOL and is an admitted former alcoholic and drug user. Would that have a barring on your vote? |

Hmmm...do you always forget the facts or how about certain circumstances? Such as there was no 9/11 4 years ago...nor was there a stock market crash...plus the .COM trend that had nothing to do with Clinton took our economy to new heights...but hey if you want someone to blame for things that are out of any man's hands including our President then go ahead by all means put your anger and blame on Bush...it seems to be the coolest thing to do nowadays...also would you please post some facts about Bush's alcholism and AWOL status? It seems you can point the finger at Bush for some mistakes he made but Kerry for some reason doesn't have to take responsibility for his mistakes, lies and actions...double standards are really the liberal trend. |

Once again Bush supporters hide behind the 9-11 disaster. Let's leave that out of the political arena if possible. Then again that is the only thing you really have to go on at this point. Also, yes Mr. Kerry admitted that he once used drugs in his lifetime and no ones saying that he or the President should be hung for it. All im saying is that so has the president and instead of admitting it an moving own he pulled a Clinton an tried to avoid the question. And yes I feel kerry will do a better job because I feel he has a better understanding of economic and international affairs at the core than President Bush does. I support my vote 100% as do all of you. I however back it up with more than one period in time and if Kerry did so too he'd be well ahead in the polls.
