Especially since they weren't in Iraq before the invasion.

First of bad intelligence doesn't make him incompetent, when he is given certain intelligence he acts on that he doesn't go collect the intelligence.

Yea, people don't really pay attention to PNAC for some reason.

For debate purposes, lets for some insane reason go with the 'bad intelligence' hogwash.

Bush and Co. clearly then weren't getting substancial intelligence that was solid, bullet-proof evidence to go into Iraq then. So why act on intelligence that isn't all there or adding up together?

My point is, they shouldn't have invaded a COUNTRY until the knew for a 100% fact that the intelligence was there and adding up.

Doesn't matter anyways though because the intelligence being bad or not makes no difference because they were going into Iraq no matter what. Even if 9/11 didn't happen, they were going into Iraq.

Wow, so George W. Bush didn't lie? Of course it is true that 100% of his claims that were the sole justification for gaining authorization to start his needless war turned out to be 100% false. Maybe he didn't lie. Maybe he was just so stupid he couldn't tell the difference between fact and fiction. Maybe he we so incompetent he allowed the warmongers to easily manipulate him. Maybe he didn't care if his "fact" were accurate, he just wanted to be the "war president".

Maybe he's just a fool, not a lying fool, just an incurious fool.

A President swears an oath to protect this nation, if he recieves evidence that he believes to be credible and from credible sources, is he not obligated to take action?

Furthermore is it the responsibility of the President directly to double check the sources of everything that crosses his desk or does it make more sense that he has minions to do this work for him.

The oath means nothing.

Because they also take an oath to protect the Constitution and they don't.
