Is there some specific message that you're trying to convey when you post trash like that?

Well it is trashy. That's an absolute. However, Cindy McCain's trashy life must be debated and brought out in the open. Republicans have decided that we need to explore the wives of the candidates in depth. They frequently make the argument that Michelle Obama campaigns with her husband, so she's fair game. The same is true about Cindy McCain who also campaigns with her husband.

I would have prefered to keep the wives out of the public debate, but the Republicans set the agenda on this.

Besides, the points raised about Cindy McCain all happened to be documented facts, public records and sources were detailed. If the post was trashy, it was her background that was trashy. Those were facts stated.

The trash comment was directed at the "Kill Obama" video.

Perhaps you could give me an example of when the Republicans explored Ms Obama in depth. I've seen them challenge her position on issues, I've seen them challenge her as an advisor to her husband, but I haven't seen any attack.

If either speaks on an issue, the issue should be explored ... and, yes, to understand their position it may be necessary to explore their background. There's no reason to treat them any differently than any other adviser. To not do so sounds pretty sexist to me.

Rush Limbaugh, who is not a Democrat, has railed away about some video that's supposed to reveal Michelle Obama making racial slurs. Of course he never says where the video can be viewed, has never shown it, but just makes the insinuations it exists.

There are others, but you just asked for one example.

Cindy McCain would like to project a negative image about the wife of her husband's opponent, so she makes insinuations. By her own actions it's clear Cindy McCain would like to bring the character of the wives of the presidential candidates into question. That may turn out to be not such a wise decision.
i'll probably end up not voting for cindy mccain.

Wow, he actually had a show about how people are saying he video. He said very plainly that he was not the one who started it. He does not have the video, he doesn't even think one exists. He was merely reporting that he heard there was one, about 2 weeks after the fact. He said (about a week ago) that two weeks ago he reported that 2 weeks before that Shawn Hannity was denying that he had a tape where Michelle Obama was saying whitey. It's a roomer that's 5 weeks old, and its on the front page of one of Obama's websites. It's totally inaccurate. Rush was not the first to say it, and nobody said they had it, yet they're so scared of it that they're calling it a smear before it's even presented.

I heard that David Duke, the former KKK leader, has been assigned to the McCain VP selection committee.

If Ms Obama is advising, and/or representing Mr. Obama, don't you think her racist tendencies are an appropriate issue to discuss? Does she get a free pass just because she sleep with Barak?
