We shouldn't have tariffs; and it's not our function to protect people in other countries.

I thought we were talking about the drug store that didnt carry contrceptives? I would love to debate you on a number of subjects but I can only debate one subject at a time. Here are my findings.

1. No business should be forced to carry a product that it doesent want to sell.

2. Businesses make descisions that attract or deter customers which should be their right as a business!

Again, the oath is irrelevant in this case.
Oaths are most definitely legally binding. If you break your oath you are no longer allowed to practice. And you're right, we haven't decided who is a person, yet.

You're right, sorry, I did digress from the subject. It's not about businesses it's about the pharmacist/doctor/lawyer/etc. If you take an oath to serve everyone, you need to serve everyone what you have the power to sell.

Actually, I am now seeing your argument more clearly. The business chooses to not carry a specific item and this has nothing to do with selling to certain people. That's a tough one. In this case I would have to agree that the business has the right to carry whatever it wants.

It's not but it IS the function of the UN and they, as usual, aren't doing their jobs. I would think that, as a country that embraces freedom and respect of all people, we would not exploit those that have no other choice. What we do to these countries is (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up, I don't care who's making money off of it. It's unethical and people are dying.

I've got no problem with a black doctor opting out of operating on a guy with white supremacist tattoos so long as there's another doctor who can perform the surgery. In most cases there's plenty of room to reasonably accommodate professionals in such situations.

Anything said in a post is fair game for a response; even if off topic and especially if the person going off topic is also the person who started the thread.

Would you force doctors (family practice / OB) to perform abortions?

I know but we cant discuss everything on a thread that is meant for one subject. I wasent attacking you. However it isnt right to hyjack a thread with a non related subject. It also isnt right for someone to argue a different subject to diter away from the arguement. I dont believe that is what was done but im sure you see my point. Dont get defensive.
