the only difference i really see is that the left wishes physical harm on republican leaders sometimes while you don't hear that from the right much. also the left takes shots at america which the right doesn't do. besides that it is all the same.

The left is much better at capitalization and punctuation, though.

Bill Mahr wishing that a terrorist attack would have killed Cheney when he was in Afghanistan.

I can add two more:
Coulter claiming the planes on 9/11 should have hit the NY Times building.
Mike Savage wishing that Bill Clinton's heart attack was fatal and having similar feelings expressed toward Teddy Kennedy and his cancer.

Oh wait... Those are conservative pundits hoping for harm to Democratic politicians and "liberal" journalists.

We could go at this all day, especially once we've run out of pundits and moved on to amateur bloggers.
We have enough evidence now though to say that neither side can claim that only the other side says such things.
Nor can either side claim it is the norm for the other to say these things.
