I remember Carter all to well. I had just moved out on my own. Even though my wages stayed the same, I watched my rent go from $295 a month to $595 a month in just 3 years. Everything was going up in double digit inflation BUT my pay. During that time I used to fish the Connecticut fresh water lakes bringing home dozens of pan fish at a time just to have something to eat. If Obama get elected, it will be Jimmy Carters second term and many idealistic youngsters will get to feel the pain I did, I can't wait. 90% of my money is where Tax hungry Democrats can't get their hands on it, so I don't really care. I think it's going to be fun to watch Democrats look like this when they get their tax and energy bills.
