With the youngsters out there who are so excited about this election, how many of them either remember the presidency of Carter or were even alive at that time?

That is just it. Not many younger voters remember Carter for his presidency.
Imagining Jimmy Carter brings forth an image of him working for Habitat for Humanity.
This leads to the thought that being compared to him is a good thing.

Edit: Whether or not it is a good thing, I leave to you.

He was really the first President I liked, I thought he laid out a great vision for America, but Ronnie Reagan and our own greed and lust for cheap oil have ruined the last 30 years.
