Everything I've read says that Obama doesn't support reparations. Unless you're talking about affirmative action which isn't so much about the sins of the forefathers.

However I think a fair number of liberals do like to see the stories about the dead in Iraq in that it increases the odds they'll win.

Also while I doubt many want to see soldiers dead a fair number do not like them. As they've explained it to me they feel that soldiers have volunteered to murder for a living. I don't think it's as widespread or vehement as during nam luckily.
