I really don't know of any black daisies. There is a knautia that is a bit of a darkish maroon, but even though it looks much like a daisy, it isn't a composite at all, but a member of the dipsacacaea family.

Yet another article, this one in Fort Worth's Star-Telegram newspaper. The editors insisted that the Bushes were only displaying the "Hook 'em Horns" sign common to University of Texas Longhorns fans. The article points out that in Africa and Europe, the sign is clearly the devil's own. Doesn't it seem odd to you that even Mother Barbara Bush is giving the sign?


My question is why is Bush showing hookem signs at his Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C., when he didn't go to the texas college and if anything, was the opposing football team?
