Please note that the article carefully points out that, for example, abortion is not a solution that we are advocating...as well as, I would ad, NOT genocide, NOT eating people, NOT wars, NOT euthanasia, etc.

Just these 5 solutions:
1. Keep It In Your Pants
2. Vasectomy or get your tubes tied
3. Regularly use birth control!
4. Reform religions which result in many children like Catholicism, Islam, and Mormonism.
5. Last resort: limit family size to ONE kid.

But mathematically it can not be denied that if you have only TWO kids in the future, that the most likely scenario (look, your offspring could have a *dozen* kids each, I don't know....which would be MANY MILLIONS more people!) is that TWO MILLION more people, over the not really too distant future, will be harming the environment.

Wrong. If a person does NOT selfishly reproduce, the number of future people who suck up the earth's precious resouces will be, from that's person's lack of reproducing, ZERO (call it scenario "A"). If that person selfishly reproduces (call it scenario "B"), then the number will be most likely (no, not all at once, of course) 2 million or so.

Scenario "A" results in 2 million less people, over that 500 year period, than scenario "B".

A person cannot reproduce, whether selfishly or not.
