Consider it "natural selection" or "survival of the fittest." Hey, think of it this way...humans were probably never supposed to live past 60 years old anyway! By keeping people alive, we're doing our society (as a whole) a disservice. Let nature run its course.

It's the perfect example of "for the good of society." I can't believe democrats aren't down with this.

P.S. Oh yeah! We also need to neuter welfare recipients.

You are giving all the credit for having the kid to one parent. Your math would be right if everyone had 4 kids. If everyone has two kids then the population would stay approximately stable.

Am I trippin' or did you just unwittingly admit that social health care could serve to help people live longer, possibly even healthier lives?

This chart begins with two families in row 1.
Each family has two children (seen in row 2).
Their children have children with the member of the opposite sex from the other family (seen in row 3).
And then their children do the same (seen in row 4). By this time row 1 is either dead or near dead.
This means that if each family continued to only have two children the population would fluctuate between 12 and 16.
