My fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed, actually taking place about six years ago. Since that time we have destroyed their economy and infrastructure, displaced 2.3 million Iraqis, caused 1.2 million Iraqi civilian deaths, created a 40% unemployment rate, and allowed a civil war to become unleashed."
Perhaps that speech would be better said by Wilson, JFK, or even Polk.

I see that Greco is an advocate of social science. Who else would promote a dispicable lie, as a great speech?

The US did not destroy the Iraqi economy. Thirty years of despotic socialism destroyed any chance of an economy.

The US did not not destroy their infrastructure nor did the US displace a single Iraqi, nordid it cause the death of a single Iraqi civilian or soldiers death. The Baath Socialist Party lead by Hussein destroyed the Iraqi infrastructure, displaced and caused the deaths of ever Iraqi effected by their failure to comply with US and international demands that they come into compliance with their treaty obligations and those obligations required of them by US and UN Sanction; even after it was made clear that if they failed to do so, they would face being removed from office by US and coalition forces, effective on date certain.

What we see in this ludicrous argument is yet another example of the advocates of social science misdirecting responsibility from those that deserve it, to those which held them accountable.

So starting a war based on false claims is ok, as long as those that made the false claims can have Republicans "misdirecting responsibility from those that deserve it, to those which held them accountable."

Glad you cleared up your postition for us. I guess that's the mantra of the 19% dead-enders.

You should really watch the 60 minutes interview with Saddam's Interrigator. Saddam played a game that he had WMD and wanted all to believe he did. He miscalculated what the US was going to do, he thought it would be an air campaign and not an invasion

Bush claimed he had weapons of mass destruction. He didn't. Bush claimed he knew where they were, "in 200 known sites". He didn't. Bush claimed he had the proof. He didn't. Bush claimed Iraq "posed a clear and present danger to the United States". He didn't. Bush claimed Iraq was involved in 9-11. They weren't.

I don't need to watch 60 minutes to know that this was a needless war born from false claims. I've read enough newspapers and viewed enough news to know the truth.

Democrats had the exact same intel as Bush did. Did they vote to go to war? YES. THEY. DID.

Yes, the Democrats were certainly duped too. At the time they couldn't possible imagine have a president, even a Republican president, so incompetent, so willing to misrepresent the information he furnished them in his thirst to start a needless war.

We've all, well probably not you and the 19% dead-enders, had to come to realization we were all way wrong on that one.
