Apparently the far-right thought it more important to investigate a blowjob between consenting adults rather than look into looming terrorist threats.

Mods; Since this is the Elections & Campaigns (Discuss elections for any/all countries) section, shouldnt this thread be in the History section instead rather than cluttering up an already busy Election section?

Yup. And he left a surplus for Bush to (*)(*)(*)(*) away on taxcuts for the rich.

And he gave us Ruthie, a gift that keeps on giving.

There was a reason he left office with 65% approval rating.

They certainly haven't been positive for the Democratic Party base! The union and other factory workers whose jobs have gone away to other countries and who can only find jobs flipping burgers now because they have no real skills or education.

The reason is that the byproducts of his "leadership" had not yet come to light. Corporate book cooking due to lax SEC oversight, 911 plot that likely began when he ran from Somalia with tail tucked emboldening Bin Laden, Tech bubble because of lax SEC oversight, etc......

Apparently the left thought it was more important for Willie to spend his time chasing fat interns around the oval office and staining their dresses than to actually pay attention to terror threats!

E.Pluribus Unum

It was SLICK!
Bush hadn't been in office but a few months!

Well, there were a few attacks on American soil (domestic and international terrorist), there were attacks on embassies, there was the whole "black hawk down" incident, not to mention somolia, and the attack on USS Cole. He also diminished the military (especially the intel community). There was a bunch of lying and misleadings. Nowadays, the last Democrat has their cronies stealing documents from the National Archives. I'm missing something. I just can't put my finger on it.

Which btw, was a war WJC started and finished with minimal loses on both sides.
