You must be confusing me with someone else. Where did I use that term?

Rise above them by sticking to the issues, not by casting equal but opposite aspersions

Q Thank you, Mr. President. You say you want nothing short of victory, that leaving Iraq would be catastrophic; you once again mentioned al Qaeda. Does that mean that you are willing to leave American troops there, no matter what the Iraqi government does? I know this is a question we've asked before, but you can begin it with a "yes" or "no."
THE PRESIDENT: We are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government. This is a sovereign nation. Twelve million people went to the polls to approve a constitution. It's their government's choice. If they were to say, leave, we would leave.
[emphasis added]

the American people want out, the iraqi people want us out, now the iraqi government wants us out ... who is insisting that we stay the course?

I guess what I'm trying to say is: A more important/suitable title for this thread (when looking at Bush's perspective in particular) is "American wants us out".

That was not said nor even implied.

Pay attention to what the people you are using say instead of trying to make them say what they are not.

read the surveys of the iraqi people
read what the leadership is saying ... i don't believe even you would try to convince us the iraqi PM wants to negotiate a timetable for us to leave and not recognize that they intend for the occupation to end

you might even do something different and share some facts next time instead of a baseless opinion
