Default The Seven-Minute Debate

I now hear liberals complaining about what George Bush did in those 7 minutes after being told of 9/11. Liberals, I have a question for you: Why have you guys waited 3 YEARS to voice your complaints?? What is THIS all about??? Why did you guys wait until now to start complaining about this? I didn't hear A THING until just a few months ago. What gives?

(And what would it matter? Most liberals probably think George Bush was the terrorist behind the attacks, right? He sent those planes into the WTC to try and win America's vote...Admit it. That's what you guys believe.)

Default Oops

I meant to say "to win America's approval," not "America's vote."

My mistake.

For me, it's not just the 7 minutes after Bush hearing the words "America is under Attack" but it's also the 20 minute Press conference he held afterwards that I find bothersome. I first saw this clip on the web about a year ago and had some serious concerns about it then.

But I think for most people who have waited so long to be upset about this, is a result of having seen the footage in Farenheit 9/11 for the first time. I don't think many people were aware of this, or either that it simply wasn't a priority at the time it occurred - at least not enough to bring it up as a point of issue. I'm sure you'll agree, Liberal or Not - immediately following 9/11 most people were more concerned with finding out who was responsible for the atrocitie of the Twin Towers, and bringing the monster to justice over picking apart Bush's actions. In fact, as memory serve, it was a wonderful time in history when there wasn't this polarized ideologies, and we all came together as one.

But now all of that has changed now that we have learned that Bush is a big fat liar and incompetent twit (J/k) But seriously, I also believe that this footage is the icing on the cake for many people who believe that Bush is not fit to be Commander in Chief.

Default Politically Incorrect...

Well, thank you for being honest and straightfoward in your answer. I figured people would just call me a #@** #*@#! and just move on...It is good to hear the other side, like yours, and hear it in a well-presented manner.

Default Say No to Bushy

I also was interested in getting those responsible for 9-11, unfortunately, we did not hear the name Osama once this entire week.... As a matter of fact George Bush has mentioned Osama's name to the public fewer that 3 times in the past 3 years.

On the Flip side however, we constantly hear about Saddam.

This Administration is attempting to make a fool out of the American People.

Not going to happen any longer!

Default The seven minutes in the classroom...

..and the twenty plus minutes afterwards were swamped in the coverage of the rest of that tragic day's events...Understandably so...

I believe that it was shown once on network TV and then buried...

But if you are going to portray yourself as a strong decisive leader, you'd better be just that...On that day bush wasn't, and it's now been brought to the fore-front...

Default enough already

Liberals only started bringing up those 7 minutes after MM showed it in his mockumentery. And now not a one of them will give the issue a rest. It's worse than beating a dead horse. To have a sensible discussion about it is understandable. To bring it up over and over and over and over and over (get the point?) just makes it loose the 'punch' liberals hope it will still have come election day.

I know I for one (who though VERY conservative does not support Bush in any way) am so immune to the point of seeing our president sit there for 7 minutes & then have a photo op for another 20 some-odd minutes (while my sister might have been dying in the WTC & my husband's friend's cousin WAS dying) that it now means nothing to me. Personally, I am so sick of hearing about it (as sick as I of seeing Kerry saluting & saying "reporting for duty").

Default Questions and no answers

Rav:

Are you concerned that no one during the entire RNC mention the name Osama Bin Laden?

There was hours of talk about the war on terror. I did hear Saddam's name quite a bit though.

When was the last time liberals mentioned Osama? They are too busy attacking Bush on Iraq.
