Default Call these companies to demand they get congress to act.

Call Walmart at 1-XXX-XXX-XXX and demand they help extend unemployment benefits and increase the minimum wage to 9 dollars an hour or you will not buy from them until they get the Republicans in Washington DC to extend unemployment benefits for those whose benefits ran out as far back as August 2003 and increase the minimum wage to 9 dollars an hour.

Call Eckerd Pharmacy Corporate Headquarters at XXX XXX XXX, Call CVS Pharmacy Corporate headquarters at XXX XXX XXXX and Call Walgreens Pharmacy Corporate headquarters at XXX XXX XXXX and tell them we will not purchase any products from their drug stores but will patronize them in the future if they can get the congress to pass a prescription drug benefit as described in the petition at

Please read and sign the petition.

Thank you.

Default Raise the minimum wage?

Are you sure? There is evidence to indicate that minimum wage laws cause increased unemployment among low-wage earners, thus hurting the same people they are designed to help.
