Why don't you take your thread back on-topic and tell us why it is imperative that we drill now.

Sounds like socialism to me, and maybe that's what you're after.

I agree that oil companies should be left to their own freedoms. However, oppressive taxation prohibits their ability to research alt-fuels, build refineries, expand their crude exploration and extraction.

The cry to "do something now!!!" is how we got into Iraq, isn't it? And how we got the "economic stimulus package," TSA, etc...

Yes, but if American citizens are resoundingly calling on congress to quit with the lip service, and actually DO something, where do you draw the line?

If you disagree with the "do something now" concept, then how long is "too long?"

Before the last election Pelosi and Reid/ Demo Crew tell the AMerican People that they have an Energy Plan. Nice plan! What makes you vote for the current bag of political hacks?
