GOPers make such fools of themselves when they try to debate the relative morality (or lack thereof) of the people in the two major parties. That's because some of them actually try to imply that the GOPers are actually morally superior, despite the army of bad boys in the party.

Democrats know that many of their people are not saints and some are downright pond scum. William Jefferson, the Democratic crook that GOPers love to obsess about and who refuses to bow out of the race, has at least five Democrats challenging him for his job:

One of my biggest disappointments is that when the Democrats took over control of Congress, they did not show backbone and stand up to Bush. It's almost as if the GOP never lost control of Congress.

You'll have to stop voting for Democrats or Republicans if you want to stop being disappointed. The Democrats are a lesser evil to some and the Republicans are a lesser evil to some - but together they are definitely a greater evil.

Au contrare. In our relentless obsession with and pursuit of ultimate convenience allows for substantially more deceit to be passed beneath our noses and ignored; ignorance, if you recall, is true bliss.

which Democrat President was gay? I don't recall one... refresh my memory... and as to the other part of your post...

If republicans fire their gay members... why is Larry Craig still a senator?

IOW, he's your typical family values republican... and obviously, they have really strange values...

In an unrelated story, Ann Coulter was spotted leaping from a second story window of the Alabama AG's residence, clutching an armload of adult toys and trailing a two-man donkey costume.

I don't have a problem with gays as long as they are honest about their lifestyle choice... it's the hypocrites that condemn their own lifestyle while engaging IN it, I despise.

Too funny.
Are you equating hetero sex with homosexual sex?

Being gay is not a crime, but soliciting for sex - as Craig plead guity to - is.

Where are the GOPers who are trying so hard to persuade Vitter and Craig to do the right thing for their party and resign immediately?

They're obviously out to lunch... Birdz...
