From all the nasty Democrats on here---I would say that Dems have a problem with homosexuality. Wonder why they claim they don't?

I think you should look in the mirror before you cry hypocrisy.
Yes! AND Dems defended the man who made sure the cameras were on-hand to get his picture coming out of church each week-end, Bible in hand----for having phone sex and oral sex with the young intern in his employ. So what was Clinton trying to portray? That he was a religious man? That he had family values??? Talk about the heigth of hypocrisy!!!! AND Dems defended him. That was his own "personal sex life" they claimed. Had "nothing to do with his being president" they claimed.

Too funny.

Not because I defended them. Why are they still in office? Why is William Jefferson (Dem) still in office? ASK the Dems who have been in the Majority for 2 years now and done nothing about it. Could it be because they know they have them in their midst as well???

You can't force them out they have to resign, but you haven't seen republicans rally around them like you dems did with Jefferson and your other criminals. Mind you being gay is not criminal.

I must have missed the part where Jefferson "and your other criminals" were getting an outpouring of support from the party or its partisans.

Being gay is not a crime, but soliciting for sex - as Craig plead guity to - is.

Where are the GOPers who are trying so hard to persuade Vitter and Craig to do the right thing for their party and resign immediately?

This is why I can't stand the Bush crowd. Its always do as I say and not as I do. Rather than be himself, he creates a persona and tries to act as he imagines that person would act. Thats the problem with too many Americans these days. Rather than see the world as it is, they see it as they wish it to be.
