The war on terror is a lie. If you think any of the republicans are concerned with US security you're a fool. Actually, they are concerned, but in a purely economic sense. 911 was, as were all big disasters in history, a perfect opportunity to restrict to democracy and centralize power. They saw this, as the democrats would've if they'd been in power, as the perfect time to rape the middle east for it's oil reserves. Al Queda? Bin Laden? The US trained these guys for Christ's sake! They don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about them firstly because they're not a significant threat and secondly because if they did give a (*)(*)(*)(*) it would upset all their allies in the Middle east. The war in Iraq was a completely motivated by the economy, not by ideology or sympathy for 911 victims. Al Queda aren't in Iraq, they're in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia; the US and UK are just monitoring a civil war for these reasons
*Cheap oil
*Protection of Israel
*Western expansionism
*Protection of a potential new market, which could very easily challenge the west alongside China

You want revenge for 911? Throw out the two party system

I don't think the Democrats see a war on terror the way the current administration sees it. If you listened to the endless Democratic debates they all said that there was a war on terror.

That may be. But you don't know which one is which.

But, what Bush has done with Guantanamo bay is wrong. He knows it, he already signed a weaver that clears him of any war crimes that may have been committed during his presidency.

If that's his way of remembering 911... then he really hasn't put much effort into understanding the dynamics and the horrifying events that took place during wwII

Actually, i think Bush lost sight on the ultimate goal of his WoT.

The ultimate goal wasn't to eliminate the enemy. That's just a means to a end. The ultimate goal was (or should have been) safeguarding the US.

I think, in the end, he put the US in far worse state then Osama could have ever put it in.

["B]Isn't that what we said after 911? The best I can tell, only Republicans meant it! [/b]"

So what did the Republicans do? Why they stopped hunting for al-Quaeda in Afghanistan and launched a war against a country that had ZERO to do with 9-11. Your point makes you look like a fool.

"You never hear Democrats talk of it unless its to take a pot shot like "why hasn't Bush caught OBL". Its never " catching OBL should be a priority"! In fact its not even on Obama's radar screen AT ALL! "

First you say the Democrats never bring it up, then you say well they do buy they keep talking about the guy that actually attacked us. You never hear the Republicans talk about that. They just keep talking abou why we need to ignore Osama and stay in the needless Iraq war for 100+ years. Kinda dumb isn't it? Why yes, it is!

"Democrats say nothing about Afghanistan and the need to win the war on terror.

That's just one of your Republican lies. It's too stupid to argue against. You just telling a lie. That's enough.

"Their faux patriotism on military issues is disgusting and probably the reason almost all military personnel are Republicans."

We remember it was the cowardly Republicans that put on their "made in China" flag pins and voted AGAINST body armor for the troops. If you're so brave, what are you doing here? Get your cowardly azz down to the recruiter and enlist. The troops could use a break.

Its like they are on the sidelines with a bowl of popcorn, but have no idea what they would do if the coach called them up and put them in!

Lie #1, they never stopped hunting for OBL. We have the largest and best trained ,ilitary on the planet. They were undertaking two operations simultaneously and doing an admirable job given the difficulties of a war in this reagion.

BLAH BLAH BLAH, the fact remains, Democrats have no idea what to do to fight terrorism and your post does nothing to refute this!
