I've lost my faith in humanity. I used to think people just didn't know. I used to think if it was just explained to them there'd realize they were wrong. There'd realize the'd were just thinking about it the wrong way. But i was wrong. Not only are people stupid. Not only are they selfish. Not only are they arrogant. But i realized that many i just simply evil. Evil isn't necessarily wrong but i'd always choose good over right and wrong over evil. People often don't do things because it going to benefit them or help them. They do it without reason.

I've lost my faith in Democracy. The system that brings 'power' to the 'people'. A system where the people are always complain about the goverment they voted in. A system more corrupt then any other. A system where the fight is for power and not for whats best. I realized that i just didn't care if a dictator gained control. What would the difference be? People are stupid or brainwashed to know who there voting for anyway. What would the difference be between a dictator i didn't like and government i didn't like? My vote wasn't gonna matter anyway. Put simply the democracy was the system that allowed Hitler to gain power. The people wanted him in power. The people are stupid.

I've lost my faith in Christianity. A religion that seemed so blatantly obvious to control the population i just couldn't accept it was coincidence. A religion that never explained why i shouldn't something. I can't commit suicide? Why not? Because of a sudden drop in the population? And hell to me seems to be solely there for non-christians. I can get my sins forgiven not matter what they are. Seems to me its not wheter you follow the book of god its where you've heard of it.

I've lost my faith in life. Have you ever found it strange that we, the only beings capable of thinking about death, don't? Try to. You just can't. You have to be incredibly depressed to start with, to yeven be able to get through that barrier that stops you thinking about. If you break through that barrier and go far enough in you get hit. HIT. Hit by pointlessness. The energy is drained from you. It's a feeling indescribable. Words don't do the felling justice. They can't nothing can other than experiencing it.

I envy anyone with faith. I just hope you hold you hold on to it.

Don't be throwing away democracy just like that. After you've experienced what it is like to live in a dictatorship I doubt you'd hold the same opinion.
Sounds like teenage angst. Give it a week, or two, you'll be thinking differently by then. (And stay sober for those weeks as well )

Don't ever lose faith in life. I am a Christian, but I don't expect you to be a Christian or to think as I do. It is your choice.

When you think about death, you begin to think about the meaningless of life and how it may all end. But even if you don't believe in a god, you never know what is around the corner after death. It could be good.

And don't worry about all the republicans and democrats arguing over this and that. Most of us don't hate each other. We see each other at work, in the grocery stores, and you NEVER see the kind of hatred that you might be thinking about. Oh sure, we get on the internet and argue until we're blue in the face...but, those same two people who yelled and screamed at their computer monitors at each other...might strike up a conversation at the store about their kids or such.

Look, go out and see for yourself. When you are out in public, you are not a democrat or a republican, and I bet you would see more acts of kindness than anything near hatred.

I was in a very depressed state years ago. I thought to myself "Why am I here? And what does it matter if I die? We are ALL going to die anyway?" I was so down...but I eventually quit thinking about death and started to think about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Hey! We ALL have our low days...mine was a few weeks! But don't EVER give up on life! You are worth more than that!

And our Democracy--Hey, that shouldn't have an impact on your "overall" life, right? And it may just get better! I think you would want to be around to see that! In the meantime, you might want to get off the political boards for awile and discover new passions...maybe it's a wake-up call to start that new business? Or become a Realtor....or what ever it is that you wanted to do, but thought you couldn't...DO IT!

Sorry this is soooo long, but it just kills me to know that someone is so down on life. In your lifetime, you will see many Republican and Democratic presidents get elected. In the overall scheme of things, it doesn't even matter who is elected. YOUR life is more important than who sits in the leather chair of the White House or what happens on the other side of the world.

I still think humanitys evil and stupid, democracy doesn't work, chritianitys a joke ( dont take offence only a opinion) and that life is pointless but im happy about it now. I may still dye my hair black continue drinking and endgage in sexual promiscuity.

Ok let me expalin why i t hink these things -

Democracy - Democracy is flawed simply because the majority of the population is stupid. Mabye 5% of people actually know the policies of the party they vote for but the controlling party is almost always the voice of the stupid and as bad as any dictatorship ever could be. Democracy encourage goverments to spin lies aswell. They have to, to keep control. And tbey fdevolp cunning ways of hiding things aswell, like say the but a countys into mass debt but improve servivces slighly and cut taxes. The 5% that no what there doing won't stop that goverment getting a new term. I do not condone a dictatorship either. Mabye anarchy : can't remeber the last time any country turned anarchist.

Humanity : You may see people chatting in grocery stores but if you lisen to them there just arguing about who saw that bag of peas first.

Life: Havn't you ever found it strange that scientists are never trying to unravel the mystery of death? You find a new type of dinosaur all you like but find out what happenes after you die and everyones gonna care. Its not that they can't it's that they don't even try. There to afriad. What if they discovered there really was nothing?
Even if death is good wouldn't that make the only point in life to die. It gives meaning to death not life.
