Here is the latest. Congressman Charles Schumer D New York sent a letter to the Federal Reserve question the solvency of the bank Indy Mac. Schumer also sent this letter to the press which caused the run on the bank.
This also came close to causing an overall crisis withing the banking system.

Really? I was under the impression that democrats in congress weren't doing a dam thing!

I'm sure Dems power stuggle with capitalism is at odds. Dems=more government with more control, capitalism=independence. Dems doomsday surogates have lead to reports of recession for more than a year, even though technically our gdp is still growing. Doomsday for Iraq, according to dems has been failing before and after the surge. Gorebal warming, which demands all americans conserve, with the exception of Gore and his rich followers who don't have to conserve because the sheep have been convinced they are going to kill of all civilazation if they don't conserve
Dems want and need the citizens of America to trust and come to the government for all their woes, this is shown in their policies. Most americans appreiciate the right of individuals to make decisions for themselves and their families without interference from government regiulations.
