That is what happens when you combine a candidate whose social and economic viewers are hated by one party and his military views are hated by the other. A small group of people to have a base from.

If he had as many supporters as he did signs and bumper stickers he would win in a land slide.

www.campaignforliberty.com I think is his new website. The revolution is still going great. Hopefully a new third party gets well known and can compete with the Dems and Repubs after this. Othewise I'd hope that the republican party will split into actual repubs and neoconservatives. Time will tell.

Oh, he recently came out with a new book that was #1 best seller on amazon for a while. Revolution: a Manifesto is the title.

Exactly. The Revolution is just building momentum with a new organization. New candidates are beginning to run on Ron Paul's personal platform. Things will still proceed slowly, but it's moving in the right direction.

Aw boo hoo some Ron Paul-supporting coward got really mad at my previous post and gave me a negative reputation point. Communication a bit too much to ask for?

Here's one dumb idea from Ron Paul - he wants to get rid of income tax. This is a terrible idea. Income taxes generate most of the government's revenues.
He wants the government out of our bedrooms but also wants bans on abortions (that's called a contradiction)
He wants the Gold Standard back - we got off the gold standard because it wasn't a good idea to be on it
Voted to ban adoptions by gay people in DC in 1999 - there is absolutely no reason for this
He wants scientific facts that support creationism to be presented in schools... I shouldn't have to tell you that this is a violation of the separation of church and state

This is just wrong.

He wouldn't endorse the creation of a commission to monitor the eradication of slavery in Sudan, where the slavery of a man is legal.
He says that the US should not give foreign aid.
He is against our membership in the UN.
He sponsored bill invalidating International Criminal Court.
He said that the US spent $1 trillion on foreign operations every year. This number is wrong. It is actually $572 billion.
He thinks that every single US soldier overseas should return home. - Sticking our head in the sand will not help us Ron Paul.
He wants to eliminate the FBI and DHS

Libertarianism fails at everything, so no surprise. You can't honestly run on a platform of getting rid of public services and not taxing the rich and expect to win. Libertarianism (as well as conservatism) is based on injustice and inequality.
