Default How to Turn Our Debt Around

Become guns for hire. We have the most awesome military in the world, and we police the world. We should expect to be paid for our involvement. At very least, this will put us out of places that don't want us. It will give us more money. It will cut costs. It will improve foreign relations. People will not say America's an over powering nation, they will beg for our involvement.

And of course we can always go into places we absolutely feel we need to be involved in.

However, we should also keep in mind that this will create a lot of enemies, which means our homeland security will need to be top notch, and our military might grater than any, but over all we should save money, become safer and more liked.

Whack a big chunk of our "defense" budget and use it to pay down the debt

Most countries wouldn't want us there. Besides, we would have to ask too much for our services considering what our military costs in order to make a sizable enough profit to reduce our debt. We are better off cutting out all the waste that our government has created. Unfortunately, our government is a self-generating waste machine that seems to be unstoppable.

Umm, sure, but the point was if we are paying for something we might as well find a way to make money off it, but who would be stupid enough to cut military spending if we're going to go to war more often? That would be like kicking a bee hive while naked.

No, we wouldn't charge too much. If we charge anything we'd be making more than we are now, so everything is a gain in a sense.

Then while we cripple our military doing dirty work for other countries, countries like China, who are mass producing weapons specifically designed to weaken our strengths, will slip in whenever they please.

No thanks, I speak softly, but I carry a big stick, and no other country can borrow it.
